KordSA IT Offices
Year: 2022
Area: 350 m2
Client: KordSA
Within the KordSA İzmit production campus, the IT Türkiye offices required a comprehensive transformation in response to evolving work patterns following the pandemic, including remote accessibility and the expansion of IT teams.
In this context, the existing office spaces were demolished and reconfigured, with new programmatic areas integrated into the industrial production environment. The design preserves and reflects the identity of the factory setting, embedding the workplace within the larger industrial fabric rather than isolating it.
The spatial organization is based on openness, flexibility, and adaptability. Open-plan office areas are complemented by individual focus pods that support remote meetings and concentrated work, addressing the hybrid nature of contemporary working models.
A balanced and homogeneous daylight strategy, combined with carefully designed artificial lighting, ensures visual comfort and continuity throughout the interior. Indoor landscaping elements are introduced to soften the industrial character, creating a more humane and engaging work environment.
The project brings together the efficiency and robustness of industrial space with the evolving needs of contemporary office culture, resulting in a workplace that is both functional and experientially rich.
