Located in Moda, Istanbul, Joie Patisserie is conceived as a boutique café centered around the production and presentation of high-quality bakery and pastry goods.

The interior design emphasizes a sense of craftsmanship and intimacy, where the act of making becomes an integral part of the spatial experience. The main counter, combining warm timber surfaces with transparent display elements, functions as both a production interface and a focal point, allowing products to be presented with clarity and care.

Material choices play a defining role in establishing the atmosphere. Natural wood textures, soft neutral tones, and warm lighting create a welcoming and tactile environment, while curated objects, open shelving, and layered displays contribute to a lived-in and authentic character.

The spatial organization is compact yet fluid, ensuring a seamless relationship between preparation, display, and customer interaction. Visual connections between the front and back-of-house areas reinforce transparency, strengthening the bond between production and consumption.

Rather than relying on overt stylistic gestures, the design adopts a quiet and honest language—foregrounding material, detail, and the everyday rituals of baking and gathering.
