Çeşme Momo Hospitality Settlement

Year: 2022
Area: 800 m2
Client: Momo Dalyan

Located in Çeşme, the project is conceived as a coastal hospitality settlement composed of lightweight steel accommodation units, carefully integrated into the natural landscape.

Rather than imposing a singular architectural mass, the design adopts a fragmented layout, distributing individual units across the site to preserve existing vegetation and topography. This approach allows each unit to establish a direct relationship with its surroundings, offering privacy, views, and a strong connection to the sea and landscape.

The accommodation units are designed as compact, modular structures, elevated lightly from the ground and defined by clean geometries. Green roofs and restrained material palettes enable the buildings to blend into the environment, reducing their visual impact while enhancing environmental performance.

Circulation is organized through a network of pedestrian paths that weave between units, communal areas, and the beachfront, creating a gradual transition from private to shared spaces. Central social structures and open gathering areas act as anchors within the settlement, supporting a collective experience without compromising the dispersed character of the layout.

The use of lightweight steel construction allows for efficiency, flexibility, and minimal site intervention, aligning the project with principles of sustainability and adaptability. The result is a calm and contemporary coastal environment, where architecture operates in harmony with nature rather than in dominance over it.
